As part of Innogence's ongoing support to our local communities our staff have nominated to sponsor local charities in our local office areas.

Our Canberra office selected Marymead Child and Family Centre and Sydney office selected The Salvation Army.

We are proud to be sponsors of these charity organisations

 

Marymead Child and Family Centre

Marymead is a local community based child and family service operating in Canberra who work to preserve and support families, care for children and young people who can't be at home.

Marymead has grown up as part of the local community for 40 years serving Canberra through Canberra's support.

 
Each year Marymead supports approximately 800 children and families in various ways:-
  • Assisting parents in the care of their children and themselves through family skills and relationship courses;
  • Preventing family breakdown by providing family support, intensive therapeutic intervention, respite and crisis care for children and young people;
  • Providing caring, stable and responsible foster and residential care for children who cannot live with their family of origin;
  • Recognising the special needs of and providing support to families with a family member who has a disability;
  • Supporting separated families and children who require a safe and understanding environment for contact and changeover arrangements.

The Salvation Army

Most people would have heard of The Salvation Army or 'The Salvos' as they are more affectionately known. They are one of Australia's best-loved organisations and have been helping the Australian Community for over 125 years.
 
 
The Salvos assist with many varying needs of people in the Community including:-
  • Refuge and accommodation for women and victims of domestic violence
  • Financial troubles
  • Drugs and alcohol
  • Family and personal issues
  • Gambling problems
  • Employment and Training
  • Missing Persons
  • Youth Issues
  • Court and prison support
  • Aged Care
  • Rural isolation

Innogence have nominated to donate funds towards Youth Issues in the local community of Sydney for this Financial Year.
